Kwasi is Vice President of Impact Assessment at Barclays. He is also the founder of FutureBanking, the Founding member of the Entrepreneurs Club at Barclays, a member of the Barclays Embrace Multicultural Network COO, Founder of SlowMoneyClub.com, and an advisory board member for charities and local community projects.
Career-wise, over the last decade Kwasi has gained distinctive experience at several Tier 1 Investment Banks. By working in a diverse range of roles, he has developed a range of skills from implementing technology changes projects, to strategic analysis and impact assessment of global financial regulation.
He currently part of the Group Strategy with responsibilities for Impact Assessment, which involves accessing the impact of upcoming market structure changes on commercial activities. The unique position gives him an insightful view of what major items are coming further down the horizon.
Louise is an Assistant Vice President in the Regulatory Development function for Barclays Corporate Bank. She has responsibility for managing regulatory risk associated with the Corporate Bank product strategy. She is also qualified as a chartered accountant in 2015 and previously worked as a regulatory risk consultant and a regulatory auditor.
Alongside her work, Louise supports Barclays Diversity and Inclusion strategy as an active member of the Embrace Black Professionals Forum.
She also supports various social mobility charities including SEO London, which helps students from minority backgrounds secure internships and employment, in professions where they are underrepresented.
Linda is a Strategy Development Manager in Barclaycard with a focus on Strategy, Customer Experience & Customer Journeys. Her team plays an integral role in supporting planning and engagement between the Unsecured Lending business with Operations and Digital from a customer experience and journey’s perspective.
Prior to this, Linda was a Rates Business Manager where she played an integral role in providing commercial guidance and client-focus on Regulatory projects such as MiFID II.
Linda graduated with a First Class Honours Master of Engineering degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University. She joined Barclays after graduating in 2014 and completing a summer internship with the firm in 2013. Linda had also held prior internships with Google, Goldman Sachs, and Nomura International.
Bohdana currently works in Barclays and over the last 10 years she has gained professional experience in the diverse areas of the business, having worked for small businesses as well as global organisations, she worked in Slovakia, USA, and UK. More recently she has held roles in cybersecurity, as she thrives and enjoys delivering new initiatives and cybersecurity programs through connecting business and the Technology, raising awareness and managing the change.
Outside of work, Bohdana is helping the non-profit organisation with an ambition to improve the educational system in Slovakia, to create and implement a methodology using creative tools and strategies for children’s development. Bohdana is an advocate of lifelong learning and continuous development strongly believes in diversity and has a keen interest in the topics of change management, innovation and how to deliver a positive impact. She holds Masters in Strategic Management and Lifelong Education, both earned at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Kate is founder of Rest Space LDN, a business that uses technology to provide sleep space in London for busy people. Kate is a former Barclays employee, working in UX Design and business analysis for lean controls. During her time at Barclays, she was an active member of the EMBRACE Black Professionals forum contributing not just to events but also the forum’s strategy.
Gillian is Vice President and Cloud Adoption Project Manager for Barclays, supporting its International Cloud Adoption Programme. She is also one of the co-founders for Women In Technology UK at Barclays whose platform to inspire and empower women to achieve their career aspirations STEM and sits on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
